Since last writing I took a week off and went down to stay on the coast by the New Forest, it's so beautiful down there. Luckily the rain abated and I got to go to the beach every day. Taking a few days off was a reminder how important it is to make time for yourself to relax, I now schedule in a day a week to do what ever I want to do!
One exercise that is great to do is plan to do something that makes you happy once a week, more if you have the time! Start off by writing a list of all the things that make you smile, at least 50, and then pop them into your diary. Some of my favourites are baking, walking along the river/beach, going to Portobello Market, catching up with a friend and having a massage.
