Michael : What a great day to run!

Today I was one of the 800(ish) runners who participated in the London Pride 10km Run and Create Yourself was a proud sponsor of the event which took place in Victoria Park, East London.

Personally it was a great run for me, owing to the flat surface and good conditions (and I would like to think my own training program had something to do with it!) I was able to cut 5 minutes off my personal best.

Louise : Relax!

Since last writing I took a week off and went down to stay on the coast by the New Forest, it's so beautiful down there. Luckily the rain abated and I got to go to the beach every day. Taking a few days off was a reminder how important it is to make time for yourself to relax, I now schedule in a day a week to do what ever I want to do!

One exercise that is great to do is plan to do something that makes you happy once a week, more if you have the time! Start off by writing a list of all the things that make you smile, at least 50, and then pop them into your diary. Some of my favourites are baking, walking along the river/beach, going to Portobello Market, catching up with a friend and having a massage.

Hi! I am very excited to be writing my first ever blog and it's on my brand new website! I have been a diary writer since I was about 11 so it feels strange to be writing something that other people are actually going to read!

Michael : Exercise takes discipline and hard work!

The past week has been a crazy week for us UK’ers, and not to mention the weather! I still try to train my client outside, it’s tough at the best of times, but when it’s raining it really makes it harder.

It’s cold, it’s wet, it’s windy, it’s just hard to get out of bed let alone charging around a park with your favourite exercise routine. For those of you finding it hard motivate yourself when it’s wet or cold, there are a few exercises you can do at home with common household items.

What a new website without many hours lost sleep, a love hate relationship with Google and a big fat blog? Now days having a blog on a business website is not just a nice to have it’s a must have.
