Trends for Autumn / Winter 2007

Autumn / Winter 2007 is super sexy and feminine with emphasis on the silhouette with slim belted styles and strong shoulders, skirt suits and tight fitting dresses. Skirts that end about the knee are always going to be the most flattering for these looks and if you are conscious about your tummy avoid the belted styles. Instead of a belt go for a tailored waist line that still gives waist definition without drawing attention to it with a belt. The super slim tight fitting dress is probably best avoided if you have wobbly bits unless you brave it with some super hold in pants of steel underneath!

Embellishment, with large sewn on crystals, sequins and jewels, is big this season. Keep the accessories to a minimum with this look and go for a simple design. Great for Christmas party dresses but also on a top to transform a day look into night time glamour, when going out after work.

Colour wise the bright colours are still in abundance this season, think bold primary colours. If the brightness scares you off or is too much for your colouring have fun with some stand out shoes to liven up your outfit. Purple is also going to be in the shops in all sorts of shade, pick one that is correct for your colouring.

As usual in this season metallics are popular too, great for party outfits, think sheen, shimmer and sparkle! Avoid any areas you want to hide though with anything shiny, it will make the area look larger.

There are 3 key winter coats; the leather jacket, the padded puffer jacket and the chic wool coat, which is shorter and belted. Although black does go with everything have fun with some colours, a purple coat, for example, would really look striking!

Louise is always positive and inspiring, coaching is the perfect occupation for her! It’s obvious you really believe in what you’re doing and that comes across with your enthusiasm. I really enjoyed the whole thing.

The Muscles: An Overview

Your arms are comprised of three main parts: biceps (the front muscle on the upper arm), triceps (the back muscle on the upper arm) and forearms (the inside muscle on the lower arm). Forearms are important for certain upper body moves and muscular balance, but it is really the biceps and triceps that do the majority of work for your arms. Your biceps are involved in countless upper body activities you do each day such as picking things up and carrying them. Your triceps are also busy muscles. For whenever you push something, that’s your triceps at work. So strong arms are important for daily life, but really when you think about it, it’s the big, strong arms and the sleeveless shirt that are the real powerhouse.
