I have pale skin and blonde hair !

I have very pale skin and mousey blonde hair, all these great bright colours in the shops just don't look right for me - how can I wear them?

Next time you put a bright colour on really look in the mirror and assess what it is that feels wrong about it. I can almost guarantee it will be because it is too overpowering for you and that you some how get lost behind it, loosing all definition to your facial features.

When you wear colours it is most flattering to wear shades and tones that share the same characteristics of your own colouring otherwise they just look slightly ajar or change your appearance somehow. Wearing a bright colour when your natural colouring is muted will cause you to disappear behind the clothing.

There are some shades that are still eye catching, just not as overpowering as lime green or electric blue. Try colours such as watermelon red, which is a softer shade of red, light blue green or deep rose pink.

The same rule applies to anything too shiny as well, such as glitter, diamante and strong metallics. Matte coloured accessories, details and fabric will be more complimentary to your colouring.

My training with Michael has been a real eye opener for me. He has encouraged me to push through my mental blocks, and paced our sessions to account for my individual needs, particularly with my running.

Fatty Acids and Vision

What you consume may have a direct bearing on your vision. Your daily intake of fish has a beneficial effect on your vision. Intake of omega-3 fatty acids is inversely proportional to poor vision. Regular consumption of these can reduce risk of eye illnesses by as much as 45%. In many studies that were conducted it was revealed that eating fish three times a week brings down the chances of this disease by at least 75%. A regular diet comprising omega-3 polyunsaturated fats provides good protection against this form of vision loss.
