A fun month..... |

| Over the past few weeks I have set myself a mission to break my habits, I read an article in Elle about how 90% of what we do is habit and when we are just living through habits our minds are not fully working/being creative. So every day I have been something different, if I go out for a drink or for food I order something I wouldn't normally, I have been doing things at different times and just generally mixing it up, it's been really fun. It has also proved the article was true, you have to be much more creative when you have to think of different things to do all the time! I have written a full article about this for the site, you can read it here.
I was interviewed for City Talk Radio last month on the topic of how there are a few more plus size models these days and if this demonstrates that we are becoming more accepting of our body shapes. I definitely think with the like of Trinny and Susannah and Gok Wan we are finally starting to accept that not everyone has to be a size 8 or 10 to look great, it’s all about loving yourself for you and making the most of your best assets. You can hear the full interview here. I interviewed Claire from Meetatlast.com for our new Create Yourself Podcast. Meetatlast is a singles portal for anything you might want help with on the dating scene, events, coaching, advice, image help etc We had a good chat about the common problems people face being single these days, one of them being the huge amount of choice there is out there now! What with all these sites and events being organised it's never been a better time to put yourself out there. We also discussed the importance of loving your life and feeling happy with yourself, these are attractive qualities to someone else; much better than being depressed and desperate! I have written about this in my dating strategy report which you can down load on createrelationships.co.uk and you can hear the podcast via the site too in a month or so. I also had great meeting last week with Katrina Brunsden, aka Fat Girl Trim, who is a health coach. She is full of vitality as you can imagine being a yoga teacher and fully dedicated to eating food that is 100% good for us. It really does make a difference thinking about what you put inside your body, I discovered this last year when I went to see a nutritionist. I now eat to maintain my blood sugar levels, have cut out wheat and dairy (expect for treats) and try to eat raw food every day, whether it's fruit or salad. Seed and alfalfa sprouts have become daily additions as they give you so much energy and are so good for you! It's made a huge difference to how I feel physically and mentally. Katrina is going to be doing a podcast/radio interview for us and we will be planning a workshop together soon talking about health and dressing to make the most of your body and colouring. So all very exciting! I really have made 2 great connections this month with Claire from Meet at Last and now Katrina. Voting online for Britain’s Next Top Coach will be starting any day now, I can’t quite believe I have entered it but it’s all very exciting none the less! You can see my entry video and vote here. |
