Fitness is a state of mind too.

 
 
I have a lot to say, but why does it take me so long to update my blog?

Because I’ve been busy. I’ve been busy making sure my clients have everything they need. In time of elevated stress and anxiety staying fit and healthy can make a lot of different. Yeah, yeah I hear my clients say “Mikey, that’s just PT talk, you need to say that”, but it’s very true. For those who know me, know I run a lot. I run because I love it, I love the feeling of my muscles working like the pistons of a steam train, I love switching my phone off and enjoying peaceful time with just my iPod and ground I’m pounding.


I realised just how important exercise is with the lack of it recently, you see I injured myself. I fell while training and damaged the ligaments around my knee. I can still work, but I need to stay indoors (not so bad in this crazy English weather we’re having at the moment), but it does mean that I get less of a workout then I would normally. My specialist tells me to rest up and I’ll be back in no time. I hope so because I need my exercise to keep not only my body healthy but my mind clear and focused on the job.


Create Yourself is pleased to announce the recent realise of Create Relationships - something I have been working on for a while now. I look after the technical side of it, despite being out of IT for some time now I still enjoy it very much, and Louise is the coach and a very good coach if I can say so.

Create is also about to start broadcasting. Our podcasting service has been a great success so it’s only natural to take it a step further. In March 2009 we’ll be launching Create Radio. Create Radio is a non-profit, volunteer run radio station. We seek to educate, inspire, and entertain through programming that reflects the diversity of our listeners and grants a voice to our volunteers. We seek to provide a space for media access and education, skills, and critical tools with particular regard for those overlooked or under-represented by other media services.

Create is much more than a full time job for me, it’s a lifestyle. A lifestyle of living the way you want to make the most out of life. After all, Create Yourself offers direction, support and encouragement for people wanting to make positive changes to their lives.

That’s me for now, chat to you all very soon … Or at least as soon as I can. Take care, stay warm (or stay cool for those of you in the southern states of Australia).
