Don't forget to stop and reflect this month

Yes, you're right, I'm hopeless at keep my Create Blog up-to-date. But here goes:

The recent months have been cram-packed with a load of exciting work, from leaving my part time job to allow me to focus on Create one hundred per cent of the time to building a range of my own vitamin supplements especially designed to suit the needs of our Create customers (newsletter subscribers will hear more about this soon) and running with Louise in our first 10k run together in Brighton UK(I have a picture but I think I would be in trouble if I posted it here).

Also Louise and I have recently spend a few days analysing 2008 and planning for the year ahead and what I have found most rewarding about that is that we have created our amazing working plan for the year - it's not in my head anymore- it's out there! And Create in 2009 is going to be exciting.

What has concerned me recently is all the doom and gloom about the economy in the press - those around me will be rolling their eyes and saying, "Please Mikey, not again!". I'm in no denial that times are a little different now; the UK economy has slowed much like in most places around the world. But fear is freezing people; fear stops people doing the thing they need to do to enjoy life. I can't tell you how dangerous this belief can be. It is a self fulfilling prophecy.

But it's Christmas, a time to reflect and I time to forgive, a time to communicate it's not just cliche it's real. Real people, real families - together. Let's embrace the moment let people touch us and enjoy the time we have even more so this year than others. I'm happy to say I will be returning to Australia to spend time with friends and family for the first time in many years - we haven't all been together for a social occasion for longer than I care to put to print. On a lighter note it will be a summer Christmas and I hope I don't catch too much of the Australian sun.

Until next year, have a safe and connected time no matter how you decide to spend your time.

Louise made me feel very relaxed & I warmed to her straight away. She spent the time to explain to me the different areas of style and what would work best for me. She was very professional and provided me with a report at the end that I could take away.
