I can't believe how fast September has flown by

I can't believe how fast September has flown by, before I know it will be Christmas!!! Michael and I have been busy this month preparing our new podcasts for the next few months to give you a clear idea of that the business is all about and the chance to hear feedback from some of our fantastic clients. I've loved recording the podcasts in the Capital Radio office at Leicester Square, its lead me to quite fancy having our own Create Yourself radio show......a proposal which I will be putting together soon!

September has had a big money focus for and probably for a lot of you reading this with the credit crunch underway. One thing to be careful is not to blame and justifies our situations just because of what going in the financial world and succumb to living in a world of "I can't afford it". When you really want to do something ask yourself "where can I find the money, how can I create it?" It shifts your way of thinking into a much more creative state! I went to a really interesting seminar given by my favourite speaker, John Demartini, this month on wealth. He discussed how the wealthy think and gave some really good suggestions on creating money. A couple of key things I took away was the importance of saving, he advised from your 20s to put 10% away from what you earn, if you are starting to do this in your 30s then 15%.

He said how most people say I will start saving when I can afford it but this might never happen. If you start off by saving a little amounts it will slowly build up over time and give you that sense of security knowing you have a back up account "just in case". Also having this security will stop you from getting emotional and desperate around money.

Another suggestion was to find something you love doing, you will always have the energy for the things you love and you will excel in this area. Find how you can make money from doing what you love and go for it. If you are already running your own business doing something you are passionate about write a list of everything you do in a day and the assess it to see how productive it really is. Fine tune you list so you are doing everything in alignment to your business goals and spending time on creating money for it.

You will see in our newsletter I have set the date for our next Create Yourself Day Seminar, please click here for more details.

Right speaking of money I am off to see our accountant! See you next month!!

I found my colour analysis to be very useful for choosing clothes that suit my coloring. I would recommend this service to anyone interested in finding out which colour's suit them best.

I hate shopping, my wardrobe is in a serious need of an update but I just can't face the crowds – do you have any tips on making it more bearable?

OK my top tips for shopping are ... Decide what you need to buy before you leave the house. Terribly sensible perhaps, but this will ensure you buy something to go with what you already have, or something you actually need. Know how much you can spend - a top tip for keeping post-shopping guilt at bay and will make you more ingenious with your purchases.
