NLP, Brahma & Gok - all in a day's work!

 
 
Since my last blog all sorts of interesting stuff has been happening! I went to a fantastic weekend NLP seminar run by Chris Howard which I recommend to all of you. It is an introduction to all his other courses but you do some powerful work whilst you are there such as letting go of limiting beliefs and emotions that are holding you back and also breaking your connection with people who no longer serve you in your life (see more about this in my article this month on Letting Go).

I have also discovered something else that is free! I have been taking meditation classes at the Brahma Kumaris Spritual University. They have centres all over the world and offer introduction courses for free. Our minds are racing most of the time and through mediation you can learn to teach your mind to be peaceful. When we have control over our minds it helps us to think clearly and stay focused, also not to let external events affect us so much.

Lastly look out for me when you are doing your weekly shopping! I am part of Gok Wan’s team (from How to Look Good Naked) for the Tesco Race for Life campaign to inspire women to exercise and feel confident about themselves. Exercise is an excellent way to feel great about yourself and by running in Race for Life you are raising money for a worthy cause too. We are travelling around the UK in April and May giving women style advice and life coaching to boost their self confidence.
